My favorite children’s book is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. I love this book, not only for its wonderful illustrations but, for the different concepts and lessons that can be taught, e.g. counting, sorting and science.

Hi Janella, the Hungry Caterpillar sounds like a great book especially since it is like a teaching book. It is essential for children to learn to count in early childhood and learn science concepts also.
Good job
Thanks Floristine, the book has a lot of vibrant colors that make it aesthetically appealing to young children.
Hi Janella, my favorite children’s book is The Little Red Engine that Could. I particularly like that book because it mentions how the engine kept saying “I think I can” and that is a positive statement. I tell young children that I work with say “I think I can instead of I cannot.”

Awesome affirmation Floristine!
